I have always dreamed of flipping a home. Once all the work was done, the house was sold, and the money was in the bank, I got so excited about my accomplishment that I made a short film about my experience. Of course the film is amateur and a bit corny, but that is how first films go I guess.
I learned about myself that I am not really the craftsman I hoped to be and that flipping houses is harder than it looks. I got discouraged and decided to stick to what I knew: paint and furniture. On the bright side, I learned that I could work small miracles with both paint and furniture. I painted the outside, painted the inside, did a little bathroom work, and staged the house. It proved to me how much staging can alter the feel of a home. I had no trouble selling this home for top dollar. Enjoy my first short film. Please, please, no one call Sundance. I am much to busy to be dealing with Bobby Redford.
Favorite Part: before and after pics. Really cool!
ReplyDeleteI know it's like 10 months later... but the flip was great. The before and afters were amazing.
