I figured it is time to reminisce about the 2008 Parade House that Neva Scott and I worked on now since it deserves a spot on my blog. We made quite the splash choosing to decorate with purple, lavender, and copper. When Neva proposed that we decorate in purple, I think she was surprised by how on board I was. Purple is usually so whimsical and playful, but I knew that if anyone could make it elegant and sophisticated, Neva could. It was my pleasure to assist Neva in this project. Using nearly half the budget of the parade house before, we managed to win every award in our class (excepting best landscape). It proves that a tight budget can actually push one to greater design. Combing both our talents, we managed to decorate the house not only with purple, but with a winning combination of masculine and feminine design aspects and contemporary and cottage accessories. What a beautiful Home!
