Something Dramatic

Something dramatic can really take an otherwise unexciting space and transform it into something unique and inspiring. The branches in this photo bring an incredible texture and make a bold statement. Branches of that size are unusual indoors. However, branches of that size painted black are one of a kind. The fact that they help to carry out the black theme in the room and contrast with the wall, also contributes to the excitement of this otherwise dull, cookie-cutter-house dining room.

Speaking of freshening up, one new dramatic element can change how a space feels and looks. It can change the way you respond emotionally to the space as well. Take for example the branches in this photo. They give an added texture to the wall, a hint of the outdoors inside, and cast really interesting shadows on the wall during the evening.
